Ready for Another Red Ribbon Week! ??

Red Ribbon Week is an ideal way for people and communities to unite and take a visible stand against drugs and drug use! We always encourage our youth to be drug-free 365 days a year every year, and we also encourage our parents to get involved and support our youth in order to increase their success in doing so. Promoting a drug-free youth promotes a healthy and successful community and generation. That is why we push the message of being brave and outspoken about not conforming to the “norm” or the “peer pressure” of drug use. We use education as a tool to expose the truths about the dangers and consequences of  drug-use so that our youth can make informed decisions to remain drug-free!

So this year, let’s continue our efforts in promoting and supporting a drug-free youth! We encourage students and parents to really get involved in any school or community activities that may take place during this Red Ribbon Week! We also would like to continue to encourage our parents to talk to their children about the dangers of drugs, the potential risk factors (i.e, peer pressure, school stress, etc.) that may contribute to drugs use, and how to combat these! It has been proven that even one conversation between a parent and child can heavily influence their choice to refrain from drug-use, underage drinking, vaping, etc. For conversation starters, tips, and other resources, text the word “TALK” to 85775!
