Partnering To Educate And Change

Recently, three of our very own coalition partners participated in a live stream presentation event that was done as a collaboration between the Cobb Schools Communications Department and Cobb and Douglas Public Health (CDPH). The presentation discussed the harms of youth vaping and opioid use. Lori Jounty (with CDPH), Stacy O’Shields (our community partner) and Laura Searcy, MN, APRN, PPCNP-BC were three of the panelist that shared their expertise on the dangers of using these substances and the adverse effects they can have on the physical development of teens and potential negative impacts on their lives as a whole.

Shouts go out to Lori J., Stacy O., and Laura S.! Thank you for all you are doing with the coalition and within the community to prevent substance abuse among our youth!
