DEA Rx Take Back Day 2K23: Act II

šŸ—£TOMORROW, SATURDAY, OCT 28nd šŸ—“
10AMĀ šŸ•™Ā ā€“ 2PMĀ šŸ•‘
COME SEE US!
EVERY YEAR, TWICE A YEAR!! ITS OUR BIG PREVENTION EFFORT TO STOP OPIOID AND PRESCRIPTION DRUG MISUSE!

The DEA prescription drug (Rx) Take Back Day event offers a free service of proper disposal of unneeded medications found in the home. Any unused, not needed, or expired meds can be dropped off at a collection site near you to ultimately reduce the incidence of Rx drug misuse by removing the access to these drugs from those they werenā€™t prescribed.

TOMORROW, October 28th, 10am-2pm,Ā we will be stationed at a collection site at theĀ Northwest Family YMCA, located atĀ 1700 Dennis Kemp Lane NW in Kennesaw, GA

If you canā€™t make it out to meet us, you can still do your part by insuring that you are properly disposing of Rx drugs in your home with the use ofĀ DisposeRx at-home medication disposal packets! Mix the powder in these packets with your medication and water, and it deactivates the medicine making it safe to throw away in the trash or flush down a drain without contaminating the water supply!

For more information about this product, click the link. ā€“>Ā DisposeRx Packets

If you would like to obtain packets for you and your family, you can text ā€œMEDSā€ toĀ 85775!

Lastly, throughout the year, in between Take Back Days, continue to securely lock away all current medications in the home to remove the access from those they are not intended!
