The National Rx Drug Take Back Day event is a major event where people have the opportunity to clean out their medicine cabinets to ensure proper disposal of expired or unused medications as a means of reducing access to prescription (Rx) drugs and inhibiting attempts of opioid and Rx drug abuse/misuse. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this event has been postponed until further notice. HOWEVER, teaming up with the Georgia Prevention Project, Drug-Free Kennesaw 365 is making a way in which you can still do your part to insure that you are properly disposing of Rx drugs in your home..
